An ordinary, free letter-post item up to 7 kg, sent by or to a blind person or an organisation representing blind people. The item may contain printed materials or objects intended for use by blind people, such as sound recordings, printed works, or Braille watches.
The service is available if provided by the postal operator in the destination country.

The cost of sending a postal item depends on the chosen type, weight and destination.
For underpaid ordinary domestic letter-post items, we deliver them to the recipient while collecting the unpaid difference and an additional fee according to postal service tariffs.
Underpaid ordinary cross-border letters or small parcels are returned to the sender.
Trackable items include documents, notifications, or small, non-breakable objects. We deliver them to the recipient without a signature and, if the size allows, place them in the letterbox. These items can be sent within Latvia and to certain foreign countries.
Pack, pay for, and hand in your item at the customer centre or post office that suits you best. Remember, items prepared using the self-service site Mans Pasts receive a discount.
It is prohibited to send items that are not allowed to be imported into the destination country or items that are banned from export from Latvia.
