Trackable
Trackable postal items are delivered without a signature, placed directly in the recipient’s mailbox if the size permits. These shipments can be sent within Latvia and to selected international destinations. You can use a trackable item to send documents, written messages or small, non-fragile items.

Registered items are issued to the recipient against a signature on delivery.
For quicker and easier communication, when sending a registered and/or insured item, we recommend including the recipient’s phone number on the address side of the shipment.

Insured
Your shipment is insured against loss, theft or damage. The insurance value is set by the sender but cannot exceed the value of the contents. Insured items include proof of delivery and are trackable. They are issued to the recipient against a signature (or unique code) and can be delivered to a home address, parcel locker, customer centre or post office, depending on type, weight, size and additional services.

When preparing a courier delivery shipment at a customer centre or post office, the price is calculated based on weight and delivery zone, not size.
If you prefer to pay based on parcel size, use the self-service platform mans.pasts.lv, where you can also choose your preferred shipment drop-off and delivery method.

All parcel locker shipments are trackable. When the delivery arrives, the recipient will receive a text message with the parcel locker address and the collection deadline.

The shipment is insured against loss, theft or damage. The insurance amount shall be determined by the sender, but it must not exceed the value of the items included in the shipment. For registered shipments recipient's signature is required upon receipt or if delivered to parcel locker - unique pickup code. The shipment depending on the type, weight, size and services is delivered to the recipient's home, to the post office or parcel locker. The recipient can forward the item to the most convenient place of receipt: home, office or other post office.

Send your shipment as fragile if your shipment contains easily breakable items and requires special attention during delivery. Wrap it according to its weight, shape, and contents to ensure it is retained during transportation, and add a visible "Fragile" label to it.

Bulky shipments
You have the option to send domestic shipments of non-standard shapes and sizes (dropped off in the post office/ customer centre)).
The sum of length and maximum circumference must not exceed 450 cm, and no single dimension may exceed 200 cm.
For the shipment if bulky items, a fee equal to 50% of the shipment forwarding charge is applied. This fee is included in the total forwarding cost of the shipment.
