Damaged shipment

If any shortage, damage, weight discrepancy, or other issue is found compared to the accompanying documentation, a report is drawn up and signed by both the recipient and the postal employee. We will then begin an investigation to determine the cause of the damage.

If you open the shipment without a postal employee present, we will be unable to verify the damage or discrepancy. In such cases, you should contact the sender to file a complaint.

If damage or missing contents are discovered later, take clear photos, describe the issue, and contact the sender regarding a replacement or refund. In such cases, we are not responsible for compensation, but we can offer guidance to help you follow the proper procedure.

Incorrect recipient information

If the shipment does not include the full recipient information – such as only a first name, part of a name, or only a surname – postal staff cannot verify your right to receive the shipment.

In such cases:

  • If the sender is a private individual: Contact the sender and ask them to correct the details with their national postal operator.
  • If the sender is an international online store: You may receive the shipment by presenting an identity document and supporting documentation that confirms your connection to the shipment (e.g. a printed order confirmation showing the tracking number, or a payment receipt).

Authorisation for shipment collection

Shipments can be handed over to you as the recipient or to a person authorised by you.
An authorised person can collect the shipment at the delivery address, customer centre, or post office by presenting an identity document and the authorisation form — or by providing the authorisation number.
