Incorrect recipient information
If the shipment does not include the full recipient information – such as only a first name, part of a name, or only a surname – postal staff cannot verify your right to receive the shipment.
In such cases:
- If the sender is a private individual: Contact the sender and ask them to correct the details with their national postal operator.
- If the sender is an international online store: You may receive the shipment by presenting an identity document and supporting documentation that confirms your connection to the shipment (e.g. a printed order confirmation showing the tracking number, or a payment receipt).
