Parcel Locker

You can receive shipments at parcel lockers from other parcel lockers, client centres, post offices, by courier delivery, or from online stores. Your shipment will be stored at the parcel locker for up to seven days and can be tracked. Upon delivery, you'll receive a text message with the parcel locker address and a code to open the compartment.

Courier Delivery

You can receive registered or insured shipments directly in person at your specified address, at a client centre or post office, or from a postman. If the recipient is unavailable at the address during delivery, a notification will be left, inviting you to collect the shipment from the client centre or post office. If you don’t pick it up, you’ll receive a second notification after five days.

Client Centre or Post Office

All shipments are trackable. To check the status of your shipment, enter the 13-character code you received. Once the shipment is delivered to a client centre or post office, the recipient will receive a text message indicating the specific location where the shipment can be collected.

Damaged Shipment

When receiving a registered or insured shipment, inspect its contents in the presence of a postal worker or courier.

If you notice missing contents, visible damage, weight discrepancies, or other issues, an official report will be drawn up and signed by both You and the postal employee. The sender may also contact the postal operator to initiate an investigation. Latvijas Pasts will carry out an internal review to determine the cause of the damage.

If the shipment is opened without the presence of a postal employee, we are unable to verify any damage or irregularities. In such cases, please contact the sender with your claim.

If damage or missing items are discovered later, take photographs, describe the issue, and contact the sender to arrange a replacement or refund. In such cases, compensation is not the responsibility of Latvijas Pasts, but we will provide guidance on the appropriate steps to take.
