If medicinal products are sent by legal persons:
- Medicinal products, including investigational medicinal products (unregistered medicines and medicine samples), may be exported by a person holding licence for manufacturing/importing medicinal products or a licence to operate a wholesale distribution of medicinal products, as well as a person authorized to represent the licence holder.
- Medicinal products, including investigational medicinal products (unregistered medicines and medicine samples), may also be exported by a holder of the medicines who does not possess the necessary authorization for export, provided that they are authorized to represent the holder of such an authorisation, i.e. to use the export authorization granted to another person.
If medicinal products are sent by natural persons:
- A natural person has the right to export medicinal products (excluding narcotic and psychotropic medicines) for personal use or to send medicinal products by post to another country, provided that it is permitted by the legislation of the destination country.
