Customs

  • For shipments addressed to legal entities and imported from non-EU countries, a customs declaration is required starting from a value of €0.01.
  • For exports, if the shipment value exceeds €1000, an export customs declaration must be submitted.

For legal entities

We offer customs brokerage services that make it easy to clear postal shipments – contact us quickly, handle documents remotely, receive expert advice, and choose the most convenient payment method for taxes and duties.

To authorise us to complete the customs clearance process on your behalf, please email the following to pastabrokeris@pasts.lv:

  • proof of purchase or commercial invoice;
  • payment confirmation (e.g. a bank statement);
  • signed authorisation form;
  • shipment tracking number.

For business customers

We take care of all customs formalities on Your behalf. Shipments requiring customs clearance are processed in a dedicated stream at the sorting centre, ensuring timely clearance and delivery according to the selected delivery method – whether to a customer service centre, post office, office, or another specified address.

Simple and transparent payment:
All charges are included in a single monthly invoice.

The customs clearance fee consists of customs duties and taxes, as well as a processing fee charged by the Post.

For most shipments valued up to €150, except for items such as medicines, drones, weapons, and other goods that cannot be declared under the simplified procedure.

For shipments that cannot be cleared under a simplified procedure or require a special customs process (e.g. re-importation, returns after warranty repair, or items valued over €150 that require full customs clearance).
