Proper preparation of the shipment

How to pack a shipment?

Parcel
31,5 kg max weight

Choose the right parcel

  • To keep Your shipment safe on its way, choose a shock-resistant box with even corners. The best choice is a new box that has not been used before.
  • Once the item is placed inside, fill the empty spaces with packing material. This helps prevent the item from moving and protects it from possible damage during transport.
  • Make sure the item does not exceed the box’s carrying capacity and that the packaging is secure enough to prevent it from being opened or damaged without visible signs.
  • It is also important to ensure that neither the packaging nor its contents pose any risk to the environment.

Pack the item properly

  • If the item is sensitive to moisture or dust, place it in a plastic bag before putting it into the outer packaging.
  • Choose the outer packaging according to the type or value of the item – for example, a corrugated cardboard or wooden box, a paper or plastic envelope, a bag, or a cardboard tube.

Pack fragile items separately

  • Fragile items must be packed individually – use bubble wrap, cotton wool, or other protective material. Fill the box so that the items do not touch its sides and are protected from damage during transport.

Proper packing of small items

  • Small items – such as accessories or spare parts – should first be placed in bags or other suitable packaging and only then put into the box.

Please note!

Factory packaging alone is not enough. It is not designed for safe transport.

Packaging label

  • The shipment must be marked with a label showing the shipment number and barcode. The packaging must have at least one smooth surface of 100 × 150 mm so the label can be scanned and processed.

How to prepare a pallet?

Pallets
Up to 500 kg

Ensure shipment stability

  • A shipment placed on a pallet must be securely fastened so that it does not tip over during transport and damage other shipments.
  • Oversized, non-standard, or fragile items (for example, wardrobes or glass products) must be placed on a strong pallet and packed so that they do not exceed the pallet edges.
  • If an item requires a specific position – vertical or horizontal – it must be fixed in place with secure fastenings.

Do not exceed pallet size

  • The shipment must fit fully on the pallet – it must not extend beyond the pallet edges in width or length.
  • If You are sending oversized or non-standard items, use a pallet with a base larger than the shipment itself. This will help prevent protruding edges and damage during transport.

Use suitable pallets

  • Only pallets designed for transport may be used for shipments – they must be strong, undamaged, and neither repaired nor modified.
  • Oversized or non-standard items must be packed in appropriate transport packaging and placed on such pallets to ensure safe handling and to avoid damage during loading or transport.

Non-standard shipments

  • Acceptance of non-standard or oversized shipments is assessed individually.
  • To find out the permitted weight, dimensions, and other transport conditions, please contact Customer Support.
  • We accept pallets of various sizes, including half-pallets. However, if You plan to send a non-standard oversized pallet, prior approval is required.
