In the Parcel Locker

For receipt, the parcel may be sent from parcel lockers, customer centres and post offices, by courier and from e-shops. In the package, the consignment is stored for up to seven days and is traceable. At the time of delivery, you will receive a text message with the package address and code to open the bin.

By courier

You can receive a registered or insured item directly in your hands at the address specified by the  , at the customer center or at the post office, or at the postman's office. If the destination is not present at the specified address at the time of delivery of the shipment, we will leave an invitation to arrive for the shipment at the customer center or post office. If you don't arrive after the shipment, you'll get a renewed call in five days.

All shipments are traceable. To check the status of your shipment, enter the 13-digit code you received. When a shipment is delivered to a customer center or post office, the recipient receives a text message indicating the specific customer center or post office where the shipment is located.

If we detect non-existent content, damage, weight defect or other non-conformities to the information indicated in the accompanying documents, we shall draw up an appropriate deed signed by the consignee and postal worker. At the same time, the sender may also turn to the postal operator inviting them to examine the situation that has arisen. the purpose of the
principle “know your client” is to take care of a safe environment, prevent potential risks of money laundering and financing terrorism. In order to implement this, all participants of the FCMC market – including the Latvian Post   – have a duty to obtain information regarding clients and the origin of their funds.
