! International mail service disruptions

Dear Customer,

Here you will find a regular update on impacts on Latvijas Pasts dispatch and delivery services.
Restrictions to our domestic mail and parcel service are described in News section.
All Parcel Lockers are in operation and the network is expanding by adding new ones on a regular basis.
However International mail may be subject to delays or unwanted returns due to the impacts related to COVID-19 pandemic and other unrelated service disruptions. These may be caused by changes in international transport (e.g. cancellation of flights or due to their capacity limitations) and/or changes in delivery procedures in the destination country (e.g. quarantine or other protective measures).
If you plan to send items to international destinations, please review this site for information on possible restrictions.

yes - Dispatch currently possible.
no - Dispatch currently not possible*

*Please note that any items addressed to these destinations will be held in outgoing office of exchange until further notice.

When preparing a postal iteding, do not forget to check whether it contains prohibited goods

Please note that the sanctions imposed by the European Union (EU) are in force for the export of items to Russia and Belarus. When preparing a postal item for sending, make sure that the contents of the item do not include articles or goods to which European Union sanctions are applicable. Please be informed that postal items to Russia and Belarus are subject to strict data and physical control. Postal items containing articles or goods subject to EU sanctions restrictions will be detained.
