Latvijas Pasts warns that delays in mail delivery are possible during Eastern Partnership Summit in Riga

From May 21 to May 22, the Eastern Partnership Summit will be held in Riga. During the summit, major traffic restrictions will be in place, which may lead to delays in mail delivery and emptying of mail boxes in certain areas.

Latvijas Pasts informs that all letter boxes which are located within this area will not be emptied during the specified period of time. It will not be possible to ensure the Office Pick-up service offered by Latvijas Pasts at specific addresses affected by traffic restrictions. Giving consideration to this situation, on the mentioned dates SJSC Latvijas Pasts will provide its customers with the opportunity to drop off mail at the following post offices, where it will be collected by specially assigned vehicles: Post Center Sakta, 32 Brīvības Boulevard, Riga, LV-1051 and 10 Bāriņu Street, Riga, LV-1002.
