On November 18, 2015 – the 97th Proclamation Day of the Republic of Latvia – most Latvijas Pasts post offices will be closed; only some offices in the largest shopping malls will be open.
Pensions and benefits to be received by customers at their place of residence on November 18 will be delivered and paid on November 17.
Newspapers and magazines will not come out on November 18. Telegrams will not be delivered on that day. Western Union money transfer services during the public holiday will be provided at most of the post offices that will be open.
