Finnish postal operator informs of delays in mail delivery due to strike

Latvijas Pasts has been informed that the Finnish postal workers have announced a strike from November 19 to November 25, 2015. No postal items will be processed and delivered during that period.

The Finnish postal operator Posti Ltd has put an embargo on all incoming and outgoing mail.

The postal items intended for addressees in Finland are being stored at the Riga Sorting Center of Latvijas Pasts, and they will be immediately sent to Finland once the embargo is lifted.
