Latvijas Pasts starts cooperation with Latvian biggest online shop 220.lv, ensuring the delivery of items to 556 collection locations

In August this year Eksprespasts of Latvijas Pasts has started cooperation with Latvian biggest online shop 220.lv, providing customers with a more attractive and wider delivery network across the country: the goods purchased in the online shop are promptly delivered by Eksprespasts couriers to 556 places for item collection in all regions of Latvia. The managers of 220.lv and Latvijas Pasts are pleased with the cooperation between the two influential service providers in the Latvian e-commerce environment, which have joined forces to ensure that customer interests are served in the best possible way. Since the start of the cooperation the customer activity has amounted to hundreds of orders every day.

220.lv started cooperation with Eksprespasts of Latvijas Pasts after assessing both the unique delivery network offered by the company in Latvia, as well as the technological investment of Latvijas Pasts in the data exchange systems necessary for the online shop and the related hardware. After purchasing goods in the online shop 220.lv, the customer can choose the delivery by Eksprespasts couriers to 497 post offices and 59 Statoil fuel stations in all regions of Latvia. Thus the customer has the opportunity to select the most convenient and suitable location where he or she can collect the item. These services are used by both private persons and legal entities, and delivery is also possible for items of large volume and amount.

The Member of the Board of 220.lv Laila Snidzāne points out: “This month we have established a powerful tandem with the largest delivery network owner Latvijas Pasts, which enables us to offer not only the widest range of goods to customers, but also the most extensive delivery network throughout Latvia.” In turn, the Chairman of the Board of Latvijas Pasts Mārcis Vilcāns emphasises: “We are pleased to have the opportunity to work with 220.lv – within this collaboration we can provide customers with a very comprehensive offer, and are confident that we will be able to develop and improve it even more over time.”

The cooperation between 220.lv and Latvijas Pasts is already reflected in certain items that are delivered every day to customers all over the country, and the orders are numbered in hundreds even in the first days of the cooperation.

Eksprespasts of Latvijas Pasts provides fast and high quality services of item delivery from hand to hand around the world, including the delivery of legal entities’ items in large volumes. The high level of the services rendered by Eksprespasts was recognized with the gold level performance award in 2015, which was given in the European region only to Great Britain, Hungary and Poland, besides Latvia and Slovakia. The award will be officially presented at the 26th Universal Postal Congress in Istanbul, Turkey on the 20th September 2016.
