More periodicals are available for subscription at Latvijas Pasts for 2017; the e-subscription system and time of delivery have been improved

Starting from October 2016 Latvijas Pasts launches its press subscription campaign for 2017, providing subscription to over 700 different magazine and newspaper titles, which is the broadest range in Latvia. Latvijas Pasts will deliver the periodicals subscribed to for the year 2017 earlier than before in almost 50 cities and populated areas. To make the subscription more convenient, Latvijas Pasts has improved the subscription process on the website https://abone.pasts.lv.

A total of 722 periodicals can be subscribed to at Latvijas Pasts for the year 2017, and this is more than in 2016 when 705 magazine and newspaper titles were offered for subscription. The subscription options for the next year include 52 newspapers, 191 magazines and 57 regional periodicals issued in Latvia, as well as 422 foreign print media titles.

The information on the whole range of titles offered for subscription is available on the website of Latvijas Pasts www.abone.pasts.lv and at any post office. Special Subscription Catalogues 2017 are available free of charge at all post offices of Latvijas Pasts, and during the first week of October they will be gradually delivered to the letter-boxes of the customers, both private persons and legal entities, that have subscribed to any periodicals through Latvijas Pasts during the last three years.

Already at the end of 2016 Latvijas Pasts will ensure press delivery at an earlier time in a total of 47 cities and settlements. As before, newspapers to customers in Riga will be delivered by 8 AM on the day when the particular periodical is issued, while in a number of populated areas the delivery will be improved by one to five hours.

Subscription to press is available through the website of Latvijas Pasts www.abone.pasts.lv, at any of more than 600 post offices throughout Latvia, from a postman, by calling the information line of Latvijas Pasts on +371 27008001 or +371 67008001 or by filling in the special Subscription Form distributed along with the free copy of the press subscription catalogue.

The free e-subscription option offered on the website www.abone.pasts.lv is particularly advantageous and convenient. A customer may subscribe to the chosen periodicals without registration in the system and by paying for them online, with no service charge. Regular customers may find it more convenient to register their data in the subscription system, as they will not have to enter the required information again when making a subscription at a later time. Registered users will have faster access to updated information regarding the subscribed periodicals; besides, the e-subscription system provides the opportunity to review one’s previous subscriptions and related invoices. Subscription to the periodicals listed in the Subscription Catalogue 2017 through the website www.abone.pasts.lv is also available to customers abroad.

Before the new subscription season Latvijas Pasts has improved the e-subscription website by making it easier to navigate and more convenient for customers to use. It contains new sections, including information on periodicals which have been discontinued and publishers’ details.

Subscription to newspapers and magazines issued in Latvia for 2017 through the website www.abone.pasts.lv, at post offices and from a postman will run until the 28th of December 2016.
