Post offices in shopping centres will be open during the Easter holidays

Only some Latvijas Pasts post offices in the largest shopping centres will provide postal services during the Easter holidays of 2017 on the 14^th, 16^th and 17^th of April. On Saturday, the 15^th of April, all post offices will be working in accordance with the regular Saturday schedule. The customers who get their benefits and pensions granted by the State Social Insurance Agency (VSAA) delivered to their place of residence through the intermediary of Latvijas Pasts with the expected pay-out period from the 10^th to the 17^th of April will receive the money at an earlier date. 

Only some post offices in the largest shopping centres will be open during the public holidays: Good Friday on the 14^th of April, Easter Sunday on the 16^th of April and Easter Monday on the 17^th of April. The list of the post offices to be open during the public holidays is available here. Detailed information on changes in the opening hours is also available on the spot in all post offices.

On Saturday, the 15^th of April, all Latvijas Pasts post offices will be working in accordance with the regular Saturday schedule, except Jelgava post office No. 5 and Liepāja post office No. 7, which will be open from 10 AM to 7 PM.

Pensions and benefits granted by the VSAA that are to be received by the customers at their place of residence on the 10^th and 11^th of April will be delivered on the 10^th of April; the 11^th of April will be the pay-out day for those customers whose pensions and benefits are to be paid on the 12^th and 13^th of April. Pensions and benefits scheduled for the 14^th and 15^th of April will be delivered on the 12^th of April, and those scheduled for the 16^th and 17^th of April will be paid on the 13^th of April.

Western Union money transfer services during the Easter holidays will be provided at most of the post offices that will be open.
