722 periodicals are available for subscription at Latvijas Pasts for 2018 through the improved e-subscription website, in post offices and from postmen

On the 2nd of October 2017 Latvijas Pasts launches its press subscription campaign for 2018, providing a wider and more diverse range of opportunities of subscription to a total of 722 different magazine and newspaper titles through the modernised e-subscription website www.abone.pasts.lv, in any of the 618 post offices, as well as from postmen. Publishers apply discounts on subscription prices for a number of newspapers and magazines already in October.

A total of 722 periodicals can be subscribed to at Latvijas Pasts for the year 2018, and this is the same number of press titles that were offered for subscription during the previous subscription season. The range of press available for subscription includes 50 newspapers issued in Latvia and 54 regional newspapers, 188 magazines issued in Latvia and 430 foreign periodicals.

The information on the whole range of titles offered for subscription by Latvijas Pasts is available on the website of Latvijas Pasts www.abone.pasts.lv or in the Newspaper and Magazine Subscription Catalogue 2018 that will be available in all post offices of Latvijas Pasts from the beginning of October and will be delivered to the letter-boxes of the customers who have subscribed to any periodicals through Latvijas Pasts during the last three years.

Subscription to Latvian press is available from the 2nd of October to the 27th of December in all post offices, from a postman and, particularly quickly and easily, through the modernised website www.abone.pasts.lv, which has acquired a new visual design, diversified opportunities of press selection criteria and a simplified subscription system that now requires less steps to pay for the subscription. From the 2nd of October to the 18th of December newspapers and magazines issued in Latvia can also be subscribed to by calling the information line of Latvijas Pasts on +371 67008001 or +371 27008001.  

Foreign press can be subscribed to in any post office, from a postman and through www.abone.pasts.lv from the 2nd of October to the 15th of December, and subscription by calling +371 67008001 or +371 27008001 is possible from the 2nd of October to the 12th of December. In turn, subscription by filling in the subscription form enclosed with the catalogue and sending it by post is offered from the 2nd of October to the 1st of December regarding both local and foreign periodicals. 

Precise subscription deadlines can be checked on the website www.abone.pasts.lv or in the nearest post office. A number of Latvian publishers apply discounts on subscription prices for newspapers and magazines already in October: information on special subscription prices offered is also available on the e-subscription site of Latvijas Pasts and in the printed catalogue.

Nearly 400,000 press subscriptions were processed during the subscription campaign for 2017.
