Some post offices in shopping centres will be open during the public holidays; pensions and benefits will be paid on an earlier date

On the 18th, 19th and 20th of November 2017 most Latvijas Pasts post offices will be closed; only some post offices in the largest shopping centres will be open. On the day before the holiday, the 17th of November, the post offices will be working in accordance with the Friday schedule. Pensions and benefits will be paid on an earlier date.

Pensions and benefits to be received by customers at their place of residence on the 15th and 16th of November will be delivered and paid to them on the 15th of November; the 16th of November will be the payout day for those customers whose pensions and benefits are scheduled for the 17th and 18th of November, while pensions and benefits scheduled for the 19th and 20th of November will be paid on the 17th of November.

Newspapers and magazines will not come out on Monday, the 20th of November. Western Union money transfer services on this day will be provided in most of the post offices that will be open.
