Some post offices will be open during the year-end holidays; pensions and benefits will be paid on an earlier date

Only some post offices in the largest shopping centres will be open during the year-end holidays on the 24th, 25th, 26th and 31st of December 2017. All post offices will be closed on the 1st of January 2018. The last day for delivery of items before Christmas is the 22nd of December and for delivery before New Year’s Eve – the 29th of December. Pensions and benefits scheduled for the 21st, 22nd and 23rd of December will be paid on an earlier date.

Only some post offices in the shopping centres of major cities will be open during the public holidays on the 24th, 25th, 26th and 31st of December. The Greeting House in the Dome Square will be open until New Year’s Eve, the 31st of December, and it will welcome visitors from 10 AM to 8 PM every day and from 10 AM to 2 PM on the last day of the year. Western Union money transfer services during the mentioned public holidays will be provided at most of the post offices that will be open.

All post offices will be closed on the 1st of January 2018, and on the 2nd of January they will be working in accordance with the Tuesday schedule.

The last day for delivery of items before Christmas is the 22nd of December and for delivery before New Year’s Eve – the 29th of December. 

Pensions and benefits to be delivered to the place of residence on the 21st and 22nd of December will be paid to the customers on the 21st of December, while the 22nd of December will be the pay-out day for those customers whose pensions and benefits are scheduled for the 23rd and 24th of December.
