Riga post office No. 20 in S/C Dole will be closed for repairs for three days starting from the 29th of May – services will be available in the nearest post offices

From the 29th to the 31st of May 2018 the premises of Riga post office No. 20 in the shopping centre Dole at 357 Maskavas Street are going to be repaired. This post office does not have the item delivery function, but all other postal services during the repairs will be available in the nearest post offices: Riga post office No. 3, 57 and 63. This summer it is planned to equip Riga post office No. 20 with the modern multifunctional In-Out customer management system, which will also enable customers to apply for the services in the post office remotely, using the Latvijas Pasts mobile app in their smartphones.

After the repairs Riga post office No. 20 will welcome customers in the upgraded premises from the 1st of June. During the period of repairs postal services will be most easily accessible to customers in the nearest post offices: Riga post office No. 3 in the S/C Mols at 46 Krasta Street; Riga post office No. 57 at 2 Prūšu Street and Riga post office No. 63 at 15 Aviācijas Street.

Opening hours of Riga post office No. 3: every day from 10 AM to 9 PM; opening hours of Riga post office No. 57: every working day from 8 AM to 8 PM and on Saturdays from 9 AM to 4 PM; opening hours of Riga post office No. 63: every working day from 8 AM to 7 PM and on Saturdays from 10 AM to 3 PM.

Since delivery of postal items is not ensured in Riga post office No. 20, all items addressed to this post office as the Poste Restante service will be forwarded and delivered in Riga post office No. 57 during the period of repairs.

In the coming months Riga post office No. 20 will also be equipped with the In-Out customer flow management system, which will not only regulate the customer traffic in the post office, but also enable customers to apply for the services remotely, using the Latvijas Pasts mobile app in their smartphones.

Improvement of the environment in the post offices is one of the most significant projects of Latvijas Pasts, which has been implemented intensively for the past two years, carrying out repairs of the post offices, setting up children’s corners and installing bicycle racks, as well as by modernising the customer flow management and providing the opportunity to apply for postal services remotely.
