Latvijas Pasts is holding three public auctions with incremental bidding in June 2018 where it will offer 33 real properties with a different price range in all regions of Latvia that are not used for the company’s commercial activities or are not necessary for its business purposes. Most properties – a total of 10 – are available for purchase in Latgale, while properties with the highest starting price are offered in Riga and Krāslava.
Taking part in the auctions, it is possible to purchase land, buildings or their shares. The lowest starting price – 250 euro – is set for the land and undivided shares of the building in Riebiņi Municipality, and the highest price – 143,000 euro – is set for the land and building at Lubānas Street, Riga. The second highest auction price – 94,800 euro – is set for the property at 1 and 3 Sv.Ludvika laukums, Krāslava, and it consists of the land, a building and an auxiliary building.
By applying for participation in the public auctions organised by Latvijas Pasts, which will take place on the 12th, 13th and 14th of June 2018, until the 1st of June 2018, it is possible to purchase one of the 10 real property items offered in Latgale, seven items in Kurzeme and Vidzeme each, six items in Zemgale and three items in Riga and its surroundings.
23 of these properties are offered for sale at auctions together with land, but ten are properties without land. The total starting auction price of all 33 properties proposed for alienation is nearly 458,000 euro.
Latvijas Pasts puts up for public auctions the real properties that are not used for the company’s commercial activities, are not used sufficiently and are not in line with the business purposes of Latvijas Pasts. More than 60 real properties owned by Latvijas Pasts have been sold at auctions over the last five years.
