On November 18, 2013, the 95th anniversary of the proclamation of the Republic of Latvia, most Latvijas Pasts offices will be closed; only specific post offices in the largest shopping malls will be open, and some offices will have changed working hours.

Pensions and benefits that are scheduled to be paid on November 16, 17 and 18 will be received by clients on November 13, 14 and 15, respectively.

Western Union money transfer services during the public holidays will be provided at most of the post offices that will be open.

Urgent telegrams on November 18 will be delivered only in Riga, while regular telegrams will not be delivered.

Press publishers will not release newspapers and magazines on November 18.

Latvijas Pasts congratulates every resident on the day of proclamation of Latvia, and to mark the occasion offers for purchase the special stamps from the series Republicof Latvia - 100. The stamps are available in all post offices.
