Latvijas Pasts offers 18 real properties at public auctions in September; most properties are in Latgale
Latvijas Pasts is holding two public auctions with incremental bidding on the 18th and 19th of September 2018 where it will offer to purchase 18 real properties throughout Latvia that are not used for the company’s commercial activities or are not necessary for its business purposes. Most properties – a total of eight – are available in Latgale. The properties with the highest starting price are offered in Varakļāni and Liepa, Priekuļi Municipality.
 
By applying for participation in the public auctions organised by Latvijas Pasts from today, the 14th of August, until the 14th of September, it is possible to purchase in September one of the eight real property items offered in Latgale, four items in Kurzeme and Vidzeme each and two items in Zemgale.
 
The auctions offer land, buildings or their shares in Aglona, Grobiņa, Ilūkste, Jelgava, Lubāna, Madona, Nereta, Priekuļi, Rēzekne, Talsi, Tērvete, Varakļāni and Ventspils Municipalities.
 
The lowest starting price – EUR 600 – is set for the land and the building in Vainova, Freimaņi Parish, Rēzekne Municipality, and the highest price – EUR 55,200 – is set for the land and the building at 14 Kosmonautu Street, Varakļāni. The second highest auction price – EUR 45,300 – is set for the land and the building at 3 Rūpnīcas Street, Liepa, Priekuļi Municipality.
 
13 of the properties are offered for sale at auctions together with land, two are just building land plots and one property consists of a building only. The total starting auction price of all 18 properties proposed for alienation is EUR 198,200.
 
Latvijas Pasts puts up for public auctions the real properties that are not used for the company’s commercial activities, are not used sufficiently and are not in line with the business purposes of Latvijas Pasts. More than 70 real properties owned by Latvijas Pasts have been sold at auctions over the last five years.
