This year Latvijas Pasts and Mammamuntetiem.lv once again offer the opportunity to greet dads with postcards of special design free of charge

Following tradition, this year again Latvijas Pasts in collaboration with the Latvian parents’ organisation Mammamuntetiem.lv encourages everyone to greet their dads by sending postcards of special design free of charge. The common denominator of the postcards is formulated in the message: “May everyone have a dad like mine!” Choosing one of the three postcard designs offered on the website www.nosutipastkarti.lv and accurately filling in the required address fields, the postcard will be delivered within the territory of Latvia until Father’s Day, which is celebrated in Latvia on the 9th of September this year.

You can log in on the website www.nosutipastkarti.lv created for sending postcards from today, the 27th of September 2018, using one of your accounts on social networks Facebook or Twitter. In order for the free postcards to reach the addressees in a timely manner, it is essential to fill in the required address fields accurately, including the correct postcode, otherwise the postcard may travel longer to the addressee. Therefore, an address verification tool is integrated into the postcard sending website in order to make sure that the postcode is correct.

Latvijas Pasts has held Father’s Day postcard sending campaigns since 2014. Nearly 16,000 greeting cards were sent within the campaign last year.

By combining the postcard sending tradition with the possibilities offered by modern digital technology, Latvijas Pasts has organised the postcard sending campaigns on social networks since 2011. The most popular of them are Mother’s Day and Father’s Day postcard sending campaigns.
