Applications for participation in public auctions to purchase 34 of Latvijas Pasts real properties are open from the 1st of November

From the 1st of November to the 30th of November applications are open for participation in public auctions to purchase 34 of Latvijas Pasts real properties that are not used for the company’s commercial activities or are not necessary for its business purposes. The property auctions are planned to take place in December, and their total starting price will exceed EUR 465 thousand.

By applying for participation in the auctions from today, the 1st of November, until the 30th of November, it is possible to be eligible for purchasing land, buildings or parts thereof at public auctions which will be held on the 5th, 6th and 7th of December. Most properties – a total of 16 – are offered in Latgale, eight in Vidzeme, four in Zemgale, three in Kurzeme, two in Riga region and one in Riga.

The highest starting auction price, which is EUR 174,450, is set for the land and the building at 54 Lubānas Street, Riga. The second highest starting price – EUR 100,200 – is set for the properties at 1 and 3 Sv. Ludviga Square, Krāslava, which are being sold as single real property. The lowest starting price – EUR 650 – is set for the land and the building in Mežupe, Krišjāņi Parish, Balvi Municipality.

25 of the real properties are offered for sale at auctions together with land, one is a land plot, one is apartment property and seven properties consist of buildings only. The total starting auction price of all 34 properties proposed for alienation is EUR 465,230.

Latvijas Pasts puts up for public auctions the real properties that are not used for the company’s commercial activities, are not used sufficiently and are not in line with the business purposes of Latvijas Pasts. More than 70 real properties owned by Latvijas Pasts have been sold at auctions over the last five years.
