Customers still have a chance to name each region’s best postman and post office operator until the 31st of January

This is the eighth time that Latvijas Pasts is holding the traditional contest Mans Pastnieks (My Postman) to identify and pay tribute to the postmen and post office operators from each region of Latvia who have been recognised as the most approachable, most communicative and most helpful by the customers. Until the 31st of January everyone still has a chance to name the best postal employee by submitting the contest questionnaire which can be filled in both online on http://anketa.pasts.lv/ and in writing with postage paid: the printed questionnaires were inserted into all the newspaper and magazine subscription catalogues for 2019 that were delivered free of charge to the subscribers’ letter-boxes in October 2018.

Latvijas Pasts has already received several thousands of the questionnaires for the best postal employee filled by customers: most of them have been received by post, and votes for a large number of employees have also been cast online via Latvijas Pasts website http://anketa.pasts.lv/

The questionnaire is a tool for evaluating the professional qualities of the postmen and post office workers – their responsibility towards the work carried out, communication skills, helpfulness, accuracy and knowledge of the services provided.

This is the eighth time that Latvijas Pasts is holding the contest My Postman to give customers an opportunity to say thank you to any of the nearly 3,000 postmen and post office workers of the company – thanks to them thousands of postal items are delivered to addressees throughout the country every working day.

The best postman and post office operator of 2018 will be identified within the contest My Postman in each region of Latvia: Riga, Kurzeme, Vidzeme, Zemgale and Latgale. The postmen and post office operators with the highest assessment rates given by the residents will receive valuable prizes from Latvijas Pasts.

A total of 1,339 Latvijas Pasts postmen and post office operators were proposed for the best employee nomination within the contest My Postman 2017 organised by Latvijas Pasts and 7,000 customers’ questionnaires were received for them.
