Post offices of Latvijas Pasts will be open during the Easter holidays in shopping centres; pensions and benefits will be paid out earlier

During Easter holidays, on April 19th, 21st, and 22nd, the postal services will be provided by particular Latvijas Pasts post offices in the largest shopping centres. On April 20th the majority of Latvijas Pasts post offices will be working in accordance with the regular Saturday schedule, with the exception of Daugavpils post office No. 20, Jelgava post office No. 5, Liepāja post office No. 7, and Mārupe post office.  The customers who get their benefits and pensions granted by the State Social Insurance Agency (VSAA) delivered to their place of residence through the intermediary of Latvijas Pasts with the expected pay-out date between the 15th and 22nd of April, will receive the money at an earlier date.

Specific post offices in the largest shopping centres will be operating during the public holidays - on Good Friday, the 19th of April, on Easter Sunday, the 21st of April and on Easter Monday, the 22nd of April. The list of the post offices that will be open during Easter is available here. Detailed information on changes in the opening hours is also available on the spot in all post offices. 

On Saturday, the 20th of April, almost all Latvijas Pasts post offices will be operating in accordance with the regular Saturday schedule, except for Mārupe post office which will be working from 10 AM to 6 PM, as well as Daugavpils post office No. 20, Jelgava post office No. 5 and Liepāja post office No. 7, which will be open to customers from 10 AM to 7 PM.

The pensions and benefits granted by the VSAA that are to be received at the place of customers' residence on the 15th and the 16th of April, will be delivered on the 15th of April, but on the 16th of April the pensions and benefits at their place of residence will be received by those customers whose pay-out is scheduled on the 17th and the 18th of April. The pensions and benefits scheduled to be paid out on the 19th and the 20th of April will be delivered on the 17th of April, but on April 18th the customers whose pay-out date is designated for the 21st and the 22nd of April will receive their pensions and benefits.
