Applications for participation in the auctions of Latvijas Pasts real properties are open from the 12th of August 2019

In September 2019 Latvijas Pasts is holding three public auctions where it will offer 29 real properties that are not used for the company’s commercial activities or are not in line with its business purposes. The properties are located in the areas of 16 municipalities of Latvia, as well as in Riga and Daugavpils. Applications for participation in the auctions are open from the 12th of August to the 13th of September. Depending on the property to be disposed of, the auctions are planned with both upward and downward bidding. Most properties – a total of 12 – are available in Vidzeme, while the properties with the highest starting price are offered in Riga and Daugavpils.

By participating in the auctions on the 18th, 19th and 20th of September 2019, it is possible to purchase land, buildings or their shares. The starting price of the real properties to be disposed of is in a different range. The lowest starting price is set at EUR 300 for an undivided share of the building in Priekule Parish, Priekule Municipality, and the highest – EUR 120,000 – is set for the land and building at 54 Lubānas Street in Riga. The second highest auction starting price – EUR 99,000 – is set for the property at 10 Kārklu Street, Daugavpils.

12 of the auctioned properties will be available for sale in Vidzeme, 10 in Latgale, three in Kurzeme, two in Zemgale and two in Riga and its vicinity. The real properties are available in various areas located in Aizkraukle, Grobiņa, Gulbene, Ilūkste, Krāslava, Lubāna, Madona, Priekule, Priekuļi, Rauna, Rēzekne, Sigulda, Talsi, Tērvete, Valka and Varakļāni Municipalities and in two republican cities – Riga and Daugavpils. 23 of the properties are offered for sale at auctions together with land, one is land only property, one is apartment property and ten are properties without land. The total starting auction price for all 29 properties to be disposed of is EUR 605,680.

Latvijas Pasts puts up for public auctions the real properties that are not used for the company’s commercial activities, are not used sufficiently and are not in line with the business purposes of Latvijas Pasts. A total of 80 real properties owned by Latvijas Pasts have been sold at auctions since 2012.
