From the 9th of November 2019 Riga post office No. 22 in the shopping park Alfa will operate in temporary premises, and from the 25th of November – in a new location

From the 9th of November 2019, Riga post office No. 22 in the shopping park Alfa at 372 Brīvības gatve will provide services in temporary premises on the 2nd floor and from the 25th of November – in a new and modern location with an open space layout on the first floor of the shopping park. On the 8th, 9th and 24th of November, changes are planned in the working hours of the post office to ensure a successful move of premises and necessary relocation works.

Due to the reconstruction and expansion of the shopping park Alfa, Riga post office No. 22 will start operating in new premises on the first floor of the building on the side of entrance B from the 25th of November 2019. During the refurbishment of the new location of the post office from the 9th to the 23rd of November, the post office will be operating in temporary premises on the second floor of the shopping park. 

On Friday, the 8th of November, when relocation of the post offices to the temporary premises is planned, postal services will be provided to customers from 10 AM to 7:30 PM, and on the 9th of November the post office will be open in the temporary premises from 2 PM to 10 PM. 

Due to the relocation of premises and the necessary works to ensure a successful move to the new location on the first floor of the building, on Sunday, the 24th of November, Riga post office No. 22 will be closed, so that it can resume the provision of services on Monday, the 25th of November 2019, at normal working hours from 10 AM to 10 PM Monday to Friday.

The new premises of Riga post office No. 22 will feature a modern and functional design with an open space layout, ensuring easy visibility and availability of goods on specially designed stands, with emphasis on the range of traditional postal items, such as postcards, printed press, various type of packaging for items, etc.
