Some post offices will be open during the public holiday on the 18th of November this year too; pensions and benefits will be paid on an earlier date
On Monday, the 18th of November 2019, which is a public holiday, only some post offices in the largest shopping centres will provide postal services. The pensions and benefits which are to be paid through the intermediary of Latvijas Pasts on the public holiday date will be delivered on an earlier date.
 
On Monday, the 18th of November, which is the Proclamation Day of the Republic of Latvia, postal services will be available in some post offices in the shopping centres of the largest cities. A detailed list of the post offices to be open in Riga, Mārupe, Daugavpils, Jelgava, Jēkabpils and Liepāja and their opening hours is available here
 
Pensions and benefits to be received by customers at their places of residence on the 13th and 14th of November will be delivered and paid to them on the 13th of November; the 14th of November will be the payout day for those customers whose pensions and benefits are scheduled for the 15th and 16th of November, while pensions and benefits scheduled for the 17th and 18th of November will be paid on the 15th of November.
