Opening hours of Riga post office No. 67 are extended by one hour from the 9th of March 2020

Having analysed the customer’s habits and the demand for postal services, the opening hours of Riga post office No. 67 will be changed from the 9th of March 2020, extending the working time of the post office by one hour each working day and determining Saturdays as days off from that date forward.

Changes in the opening hours of Riga post office No. 67 are related to the habits of using the postal services in this post office, which show that the number of customers visiting the post office on weekdays is significantly higher than on Saturdays, when the customer flow in the post office decreases by more than 60% compared to weekdays. Consequently, the work of the post office on Saturdays is unprofitable and does not meet the demand, which is more focused on extending the service on weekdays.

Therefore, starting from the 9th of March, Riga post office No. 67 at 161 Slokas Street will be providing services to customers from 8 AM to 8 PM every working day from Monday to Friday, thus tending to those customers who work according to traditional working hours every working day.

Information on the planned changes to the opening hours of Riga post office No. 67 has been put up in a place visible to the visitors of the post office. In addition, every resident in the area serviced by this post office will be notified by special notice in their letter-box.
