From the 17th of July 2020 Riga post office No. 11 will ensure the delivery of postal items to the customers of Riga post office No. 50

Due to the planned reconstruction of the premises of Riga post office No. 50 in the shopping centre Origo at 2 Stacijas laukums, from the 17th of July 2020 the functions of the delivery of postal items and of the post office box service will be taken over by two other nearby post offices. Starting from that date, the delivery of postal items to the customers of Riga post office No. 50 will be ensured by Riga post office No. 11 at 20 Marijas Street, while the post office boxes will be relocated to the post centre Sakta at 32 Brīvības bulvāris. All other services will continue to be available at Riga post office No. 50.

Taking into account the plan to reconstruct and change the premises of Riga post office No. 50 in the shopping centre Origo in the coming months, from the 17th of July 2020 the customers of this post office will be able to receive postal items at the nearby Riga post office No. 11. The final day for the delivery of items in the premises of the shopping centre Origo will be the 16th of July 2020 until 7 PM. In turn, the post office boxes located at Riga post office No. 50 will be moved to the post centre Sakta at 32 Brīvības bulvāris. The opening hours of the post centre Sakta are from 8 AM to 7 PM every working day.

Reconstruction works of the new premises of Riga post office No. 50 in the shopping centre Origo will start in the near future, and they are planned to be completed by the end of summer – as soon as more precise information is known, Latvijas Pasts will provide it separately.

The customers of Riga post office No. 50 will also be notified with the help of information notices in their letter-boxes regarding the envisaged changes.

In recent years Latvijas Pasts has been actively implementing postal service and environment modernisation works.
