Some post offices will be open during the year-end holidays; pensions and benefits will be paid on an earlier date

Only some post offices in Daugavpils, Jēkabpils, Liepāja and Mārupe will be open during the year-end holidays on the 24^th, 25^th, 26^th and 31^st of December 2020. The 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd of January 2021 will be free days for all post offices. Pensions and benefits scheduled to be delivered at the customers’ places of residence on the 24^th of December will be paid on the 23^rd of December. The last day for delivery of items before Christmas in Latvia this year is the 23^rd of December and for delivery before the turn of the year – the 30^th of December.

Only some post offices in Daugavpils, Jēkabpils, Liepāja and Mārupe will be open during the public holidays on the 24^th, 25^th, 26^th and 31^st of December. The 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd of January will be free days for all employees of Latvijas Pasts post offices. 

The post offices to be open on holidays and their opening hours on the 24^th, 25^th, 26^th and 31^st of December:

The pensions and benefits granted by the State Social Insurance Agency (VSAA) which are scheduled to be received at places of residence on the 24^th of December will be delivered and paid to the customers on the 23^rd of December.

The last day for delivery of items before Christmas in Latvia this year is the 23^rd of December and for delivery before the turn of the year – the 30^th of December.
