Some Latvijas Pasts post offices will be open during the Easter holidays; pensions and benefits will be paid at an earlier date
Only some post offices in Riga, Daugavpils, Jelgava, Jēkabpils, Liepāja and Mārupe will be open during the Easter holidays on the 2nd, 4th and 5th of April 2021. The 3rd of April will be a working day for those Latvijas Pasts post offices which are normally open on Saturdays, and their opening hours on this day will not change. The customers who get their pensions and benefits granted by the State Social Insurance Agency delivered to their place of residence through the intermediary of Latvijas Pasts with the expected pay-out day on the 5th of April will receive the money on the 1st of April. 
 
Only some post offices in the largest shopping centres in Riga, Daugavpils, Jelgava, Jēkabpils, Liepāja and Mārupe will be open during the Easter holidays: Good Friday on the 2nd of April, Easter Sunday on the 4th of April and Easter Monday on the 5th of April. A list of the post offices to be open for customers and their opening hours are available here. Information on changes in the opening hours is also available on the spot in all post offices.
 
Saturday, the 3rd of April, will be a working day for those Latvijas Pasts post offices which are normally open on Saturdays, and their opening hours on this day will not change. 
 
The pensions and benefits granted by the State Social Insurance Agency which are scheduled to be received at places of residence on the 5th of April will be delivered and paid to the customers on the 1st of April.
