Some post offices will be open during the public holidays; the 8th of May will be a business day at Latvijas Pasts
On the 1st and 4th of May 2021, which are public holidays, only some Latvijas Pasts post offices in the largest shopping centres will provide postal services. The post offices open on Monday, the 3rd of May, will work according to Saturday’s opening hours, with an exception of some post offices, where the opening hours will be changed on that day. On Saturday, the 8th of May, which is a transferred working day, the post offices will work according to Monday’s schedule, except for certain post offices, whose working hours will be changed on that day. Items will also be delivered on the 8th of May.
 
Only some post offices in the largest shopping centres will be open during the public holidays: Labour Day on the 1st of May and the Day of Restoration of Independence of the Republic of Latvia on the 4th of May. To allow people to enjoy several free days in a row, one working day in May – Monday, the 3rd of May – has been switched with Saturday, the 8th of May. The post offices to be open on Monday, the 3rd of May, will work according to Saturday’s opening hours, and on Saturday, the 8th of May, Latvijas Pasts will operate according to Monday’s schedule and deliver items to customers. The working schedule on the 3rd and the 8th of May will be changed at some of the post offices – the opening hours of such post offices are available here
 
Dozens of Latvijas Pasts parcel lockers can be used for collecting and sending items throughout the country according to the opening hours of the shopping centres or availability of the parcel lockers during the holiday period.
