Latvijas Pasts will refurbish the visual look of more than 40 post offices and improve customer convenience

By the end of 2021 Latvijas Pasts plans to refurbish the visual look and functional facilities of 43 post offices by carrying out redecoration in accordance with uniform style guidelines, improving service counters, revising the range of goods and placing goods in modern retail displays. The post office modification project will allow customers to receive services or purchase goods in a modern and comfortable environment, creating a positive atmosphere for both visitors and employees.

In order to improve convenience of the customers and employees, create a pleasant atmosphere in post offices, modernise sales opportunities and shape a unified visual image, Latvijas Pasts plans to make changes in the design and functional facilities of 43 post offices throughout Latvia by the end of this year. The post offices where the changes are planned will be redecorated, their service counters will be redesigned, modern retail equipment will be introduced, the range of traded goods will be revised and renewed and a unified design will be created in accordance with the company’s visual standard guidelines. 

The modification plan provides for refurbishment of 26 post offices in Riga and its region: in Ādaži, Baldone, Kauguri, Ķekava, Piņķi, Ropaži and Salaspils, five post offices in Kurzeme: Liepāja post offices No. 3 and 12, Pāvilosta, Saldus and Tukums post offices, and four post offices in each of the other regions. In Latgale these will be Balvi post office No. 1, Līvāni and Krāslava post offices and Rēzekne post office No. 4, in Vidzeme – Alūksne post office No. 1, Limbaži post office No. 1, Salacgrīva and Smiltene post offices, and in Zemgale – Iecava and Ikšķile post offices, Jelgava post office No. 7 and Ogre post office No. 3.

In recent years Latvijas Pasts has been actively implementing projects aimed at creating a more favourable environment for customers and employees at the post offices.
