Latvijas Pasts post offices in shopping centres in Riga and Mārupe are operating according to a changed schedule, including on Saturdays and Sundays

Due to the state of emergency declared in Latvia and the restrictions established in order to contain the spread of the COVID-19 infection, Latvijas Pasts post offices in shopping centres in Riga and Mārupe continue to operate with changes in their business hours, providing postal services also on Saturdays and Sundays. In order to avoid spending more time than necessary at a post office, Latvijas Pasts encourages you to make use of the company’s mobile application, which allows you to apply for the service remotely and show up at the post office just in time for receiving your service.

Following the restrictions imposed on the operation of shopping centres, the opening hours of nine post offices in shopping centres in Riga and Mārupe have been changed, affecting Riga post office No. 3 in S/C Mols, 46 Krasta Street; Riga post office No. 17 in S/C Domina, 3 Ieriķu Street; Riga post office No. 20 in S/C Dole, 357 Maskavas Street; Riga post office No. 22 in S/P Alfa, 372 Brīvības gatve; Riga post office No. 25 in S/C Spice, 29 Lielirbes Street; Riga post office No. 33 in S/C Akropole, 257B Maskavas Street; Riga post office No. 50 in S/C Origo, 2 Stacijas laukums; Riga post office No. 57 in S/C Mego, 2 Prūšu Street and Mārupe post office in S/C Mārupe, 31 Daugavas Street. 

The abovementioned post offices continue to operate also on Saturdays and Sundays. The exact opening hours of the post offices can be viewed here. It is planned that the post offices will operate in this mode until the 15^th of November 2021 or until further decisions.

Latvijas Pasts reminds you that during the state of emergency the opening hours of several post offices in Riga, Kurzeme, Latgale and Zemgale have also changed. In order to avoid spending more time than necessary at a post office, Latvijas Pasts encourages you to make maximum use of the company’s mobile application, which allows you to apply for the service remotely and show up at the post office just in time for receiving your service. Latvijas Pasts continues to assess the optimal provision of post office operations and delivery of items, taking into account the state of emergency.
