Latvijas Pasts encourages the little residents of Latvia to send a letter to Father Christmas in a timely manner

With the coming of the Advent season, when the preparations for the end-of-the-year holidays are gradually taking place, Latvijas Pasts encourages the little residents of Latvia to send a letter to Father Christmas in a timely manner. The office of Latvian Father Christmas is located in Ziemupe, Vērgale Parish, South Kurzeme Municipality, Santa Claus lives in Finland, while Grandfather Frost resides in Russia. In order for a letter to reach the addressee, the children’s parents should make sure that the correct address of the recipient and the sender is indicated on the letter and that a stamp with a suitable face value is affixed. Latvijas Pasts reminds you that the last day for delivery of postal items before Christmas in Latvia is the 23rd of December and for delivery before New Year – the 30th of December.

The first Advent marks the start of the season of preparation for the coming of Christmas. Therefore, Latvijas Pasts encourages the little residents of Latvia to remember to send a letter to Father Christmas and asks their parents to check that the accurate Father Christmas’ address is indicated on the letter and stamps with a suitable face value are affixed.
