During the busiest shopping period of the year, we urge our customers to be cautious: a new type of fraudulent activities is currently observed on social media and Facebook Messenger, when customers receive fraudulent notifications, informing them about alleged costs for receiving a postal item and asking them to make a cash transfer.

When you receive a suspicious notification like the one seen in the picture, never open fraudulent links and under no circumstances give your personal information to fraudsters.

Latvijas Pasts e-mail address and websites always end with pasts.lv — everything else can be considered fake notifications.
