Voting for the best and the most helpful postman or post office operator is still open until the 31st of January

Latvijas Pasts reminds you that voting for the best postal employer is still open until the 31st of January 2022, so the company encourages every customer to submit the contest questionnaire online at http://anketa.pasts.lv/ or send the post-paid form by post: the printed questionnaires were inserted into all Newspaper and Magazine Subscription Catalogues 2022 that were delivered free of charge to the subscribers’ letter-boxes last October, before the start of the subscription campaign. The traditional contest Mans pastnieks (My Postman) will identify the best postman and the best post office operator from each region of Latvia in 2021, recognised as the most reliable, knowledgeable and helpful by the customers.

Latvijas Pasts launched the traditional contest My Postman in October 2021, inviting the customers to vote for their favourite postman and post office operator in each region of Latvia and in Riga. Latvijas Pasts has already received several thousand questionnaires for the best postal employee completed by the customers, which have been sent both by post and filled in online, using Latvijas Pasts’ website http://anketa.pasts.lv/.

This is the eleventh year that Latvijas Pasts runs the contest My Postman, giving the customers a chance to thank those postmen and post office operators who carry out their duties with great responsibility, diligence and sincerity.

The occupation of the postman and postal operator has always been valued, and the company’s employees have worked hard particularly in the conditions of COVID-19 to provide all the necessary services, with the company not stopping its operations for a day since the beginning of the pandemic. During all this time, Latvijas Pasts employees have been providing and continue to provide both item delivery and customer services throughout Latvia. Postmen are most valued by senior citizens in rural areas, as the postman is often the only link to the outside world.

The best postman and post office operator of 2021 will be identified within the contest My Postman in each region of Latvia: Kurzeme, Latgale, Vidzeme, Zemgale and Riga. The postmen and post office operators with the highest assessment rates given by the residents will receive valuable prizes from Latvijas Pasts.

At the beginning of October 2021 the printed questionnaires for the contest My Postman were sent out together with the Newspaper and Magazine Subscription Catalogues 2022, which were delivered free of charge to the letter-boxes of the customers who have subscribed to any periodicals during the last two years.

The filled questionnaires should be dropped in any Latvijas Pasts letter-box or dropped off at a post office by the 31st of January 2022. The questionnaires are post-paid. The contest questionnaire may be filled in and sent online until the mentioned deadline here

A total of 946 Latvijas Pasts postmen and post office operators were proposed for the best employee nomination within the contest My Postman 2020 organised by Latvijas Pasts and more than 11,300 customers’ questionnaires were received for them.
