Latvijas Pasts post offices in shopping centres will be open during the Easter holidays; pensions and benefits will be paid at an earlier date

Only some post offices in Riga, Daugavpils, Jelgava, Liepāja and Mārupe will be open during the Easter holidays on the 15th, 17th and 18th of April 2022. The 16th of April will be a working day for those Latvijas Pasts post offices which are normally open on Saturdays, and their opening hours on this day will not change. The customers who get their pensions and benefits granted by the State Social Insurance Agency delivered to their place of residence through the intermediary of Latvijas Pasts with the expected pay-out period from the 12th to the 18th of April will receive the money at an earlier date. 

Only some post offices in the largest shopping centres in Riga, Daugavpils, Jelgava, Liepāja and Mārupe will be open during the Easter holidays: Good Friday on the 15th of April, Easter Sunday on the 17th of April and Easter Monday on the 18th of April. A list of the post offices to be open for customers and their opening hours are available here. Information on changes in the opening hours is also available on the spot in all post offices.

Saturday, the 16th of April, will be a working day for those Latvijas Pasts post offices which are normally open on Saturdays, and their opening hours on this day will not change. 
 
The pensions and benefits paid by the State Social Insurance Agency which are scheduled to be received at places of residence on the 12th of April will be delivered and paid to the customers on the 11th of April; the 12th of April will be the payday for those customers whose pensions and benefits are scheduled to be delivered to their places of residence on the 13th and 14th of April. Home deliveries of pensions and benefits to be received on the 15th and 16th of April will take place on the 13th of April, while pensions and benefits scheduled for the 17th and 18th of April will be paid at places of residence on the 14th of April.
