Latvijas Pasts has a new version of the self-service website Manspasts.lv – cheaper postage is offered when items are prepared for sending digitally

In order to provide a more convenient and simpler process of preparing postal items for sending, Latvijas Pasts has developed a new version of the self-service website Manspasts.lv, which offers cheaper postage on registered items processed in the system. Items can be prepared for sending on Manspasts.lv both from a computer and a mobile smart device, without logging into the system, however, registered customers are provided with several advantages, for example, the history of previously processed items is saved, customer data is displayed automatically, and it is possible to create an item address book and add recipients from it to future items, rather than entering this data repeatedly.

The new version of Manspasts.lv, the self-service site for Latvijas Pasts customers, is not only more visually attractive and transparent, but also more functional, making the process of preparing postal items for sending remotely is as simple and convenient as possible. The new version of the system is also adapted for use on mobile smart devices.

Manspasts.lv offers modern options for preparing items for sending in the digital environment, which are suitable for both legal entities and individuals. If processing certified mail – traceable, registered and/or insured items – via Manspasts.lv, the postage will be lower for the customer: a traceable item processed on the self-service website will cost EUR 0.25 cheaper than if processing it at a post office, while a registered and insured item will be cheaper by as much as EUR 0.49.

The items processed via Manspasts.lv can be handed over for dispatch at any post office, where customers with items prepared this way have a higher service priority. The customer will have to spend much less time at the post office, as there will be no need to fill out forms that will have already been completed digitally. The customer may print the accompanying documents of the item in the office or at home, but if such an option is not available, it will be done by a post office employee. In this case, the customer will have to present the numbers of the items processed via Manspasts.lv, which will have been generated in the system and sent to the e-mail address specified by the customer.

Items can be processed via Manspasts.lv both by registered customers and those who do not want to log in. However, registered customers will have several advantages on Manspasts.lv: the sender's data is saved and does not need to be filled in for future items, the item sending history is available, and it is possible to create an address book from which to choose recipient addresses.

Latvijas Pasts continues the implementation of targeted modernisation projects, improving customer service and ensuring digitalisation of services in accordance with customers’ contemporary consumption habits.
