Continuing the implementation of the plan to expand the possibilities of receiving and sending items, new outdoor parcel lockers of Latvijas Pasts will be placed at the gas stations of Circle K, the leading convenient shopping and fuel retailer in Latvia. The lockers are to be installed in Riga, Daugavpils, Jūrmala, Rēzekne and Sigulda. The first one of the new outdoor parcel lockers has already started operating in Riga, at the gas station located at 164c A. Deglava Street. Overall, Latvijas Pasts plans to install at least 120 modern outdoor parcel lockers this year and next year, ensuring efficient sending and receiving of items at a place and time convenient for customers.
Expanding customer convenience and options for receiving and sending items, Latvijas Pasts actively continues the implementation of its plan for the development of the parcel locker network, placing the new generation of outdoor parcel lockers in strategically advantageous locations for customers: near Circle K gas stations in Riga, Daugavpils, Jūrmala, Rēzekne and Sigulda.
The first parcel locker has already been opened and is available to customers at the gas station located at 164c A. Deglava Street, Riga, and the next ones are planned to be installed until the beginning of November: at 5a Jūrmalas gatve, 25a Anniņmuižas bulvāris, 40 Dzirciema Street, 203 and 265 Brīvības gatve, and 105 Vienības gatve in Riga; 42a Dubultu prospekts in Jūrmala; and 2 Mazā Saules Street in Sigulda.

We will therefore be providing our mutual customers with a double benefit by combining shopping with receiving and sending items. This is just the beginning, as our parcel network is set to expand rapidly,” Mārcis Vilcāns, Chairman of the Board of Latvijas Pasts, points out.
According to Sigitas Raila, Managing Director at Circle K Latvia, “Circle K gas station customers will greatly benefit from the installation of new outdoor parcel lockers: while driving to or from work or going on a weekend getaway, customers can pick up their items at the nearest gas station. With the parcel lockers operating round-the-clock, customers can conveniently refuel and receive or send items at any time of the day.”
As part of the development of various item delivery solutions tailored to the modern consumption habits of its customers, Latvijas Pasts began implementing its ambitious plan in August to deploy outdoor parcel lockers, envisaging the expansion of the parcel locker network with at least 120 new parcel lockers. During the first stage, outdoor parcel lockers have been installed near six Lidl stores in Riga, Rēzekne and Jelgava.
Latvijas Pasts is the only company in Latvia that offers both indoor parcel locker services, which are very important for parcels that require a certain temperature regime, without exposing them to fluctuations in the surrounding environment, and outdoor parcel lockers, ensuring the collection of items at any time of the day.
