Some post offices will be open during the end-of-year holidays; the 1st of January 2023 will be a day off for employees of Latvijas Pasts

Only some post offices in the shopping centres of the largest cities will be open during the end-of-year holidays on the 24th, 25th, 26th and 31st of December 2022, and they will have a changed schedule on these days. The 1st of January 2023 will be a free day for all post offices. During this time, more than 100 parcel lockers of Latvijas Pasts can be used throughout the country for convenient pick-up and sending of items. The last day for delivery of items before Christmas in Latvia this year is the 23rd of December and for delivery before the turn of the year – the 30th of December.

Only some post offices will be open during the public holidays on the 24th, 25th, 26th and 31st of December. The list of these post offices and their opening hours are available here. The 1st of January 2023 will be a free day for employees of all Latvijas Pasts post offices. 
 
More than 100 outdoor and indoor parcel lockers of Latvijas Pasts will be available for picking up and sending items throughout the country: outdoor parcel lockers can be used at any time convenient for the customer around the clock, while indoor parcel lockers are available according to the opening hours of the shopping centres or other locations of the parcel lockers.
