With almost 40 parcel lockers added since September, the network of Latvijas Pasts now features over 110 lockers

Over the course of a few months, from August to the end of December 2022, Latvijas Pasts will have supplemented its parcel locker network with 37 modern outdoor parcel lockers to expand the possibilities of receiving and sending items. The lockers are located in places easily accessible to customers all over Latvia and available at any time of the day. There are currently more than 110 outdoor and indoor parcel lockers in the parcel locker network of Latvijas Pasts. The ambitious project to expand the parcel locker network will be continued in 2023, with 30 more modern outdoor parcel lockers planned to be added to the network in the first quarter. In total, it is planned to install at least 120 new parcel lockers.

Latvijas Pasts actively continues to expand the parcel locker network, placing the new generation of outdoor parcel lockers in strategically advantageous locations for customers across the country. Having started the expansion of the parcel locker network project in August 2022, by the end of December the parcel locker network of Latvijas Pasts will have been supplemented with 37 new and modern outdoor parcel lockers. As a result, the parcel locker network of Latvijas Pasts will consist of 116 outdoor and indoor lockers by the end of 2022.

The new parcel lockers of Latvijas Pasts have been installed near LIDL retail stores, at Circle K gas stations and in other locations easily accessible to customers. Customers have access to these parcel lockers at any time of the day, every day.

In December 2022, new parcel lockers were installed near the shopping centre Solo at 19 Jāņa Poruka Street, Cēsis; near the department store Rēzekne at 20 Latgales Street, Rēzekne; near the shopping centre Rimi at 89 Rīgas Street, Līvāni; at 20 Ainažu Street, Saulkrasti; near the store Elvi at 1 Vidus Street, Sigulda; near the shopping centre Walk at 54 Ausekļa Street, Valka; at 28/30 Rīgas Street, Gulbene; near the store Maxima at 28 Rīgas Street, Krāslava; and at 17a Gaismas Street, Ķekava.

In total, more than 110 Latvijas Pasts outdoor and indoor parcel lockers are available to customers across the country. In the first quarter of 2023, another 30 new parcel lockers will be placed. In the first days of January, Latvijas Pasts parcel locker services will become available to customers in Mārupe, Smiltene and Iecava.

Latvijas Pasts is the only company in Latvia that offers both indoor parcel locker services, which are very important for parcels that require a certain temperature regime, without exposing them to fluctuations in the surrounding environment, and outdoor parcel lockers, ensuring the collection and sending of items at any time of the day.

As part of the development of various item delivery solutions tailored to the modern consumption habits of its customers, Latvijas Pasts began implementing its ambitious plan in August 2022 to install outdoor parcel lockers, with a view to expanding the parcel locker network with at least 120 new parcel lockers.
