All Spring Flowers for You!, the Mother’s Day postcard sending campaign of Latvijas Pasts is now open

Today, on the 26th of April 2023, Latvijas Pasts launches the traditional Mother’s Day postcard sending campaign, encouraging everyone to greet their mothers, grandmothers, sisters, girlfriends and other female relatives with specially designed postcards. With their spring design and vibrant colour palette, the postcards illustrate the theme of this year’s campaign: All Spring Flowers for You!. As a special surprise, there will be a limited-edition postcard created especially for the Mother’s Day postcard campaign by the popular artist Kristīne Luīze Avotiņa. By logging in on the website www.nosutipastkarti.lv through one’s Facebook or Google user profile and accurately filling in the specified information fields, anyone can send a holiday greeting to female addressees across Latvia who will get the cards until the 14th of May, which is Mother’s Day.

In 2023, Mother’s Day will be celebrated in Latvia on the 14th of May, and this year too Latvijas Pasts is organising this traditional postcard sending campaign, inviting everyone to greet their mothers and other female relatives on this beautiful holiday. The theme of the campaign this year is All Spring Flowers for You!, making it possible for anyone to send beautiful flowers to their mothers even if there is no opportunity to meet and celebrate Mother’s Day together.

To send a postcard, customers should log in with their Facebook or Google account on the website www.nosutipastkarti.lv starting from today, the 26th of April. The users are asked to accurately fill in the specified information fields – given name, surname, address and postcode – and are offered to choose from among the postcards of three different designs for sending. To make sure that the postcode is correct in an easy and convenient way, it is possible to use the address verification tool integrated on the website.

Everyone who manages to get registered in time will have the opportunity to send several postcards, but there is also a special surprise: a postcard created by the artist K. L. Avotiņa especially for the Mother's Day campaign of Latvijas Pasts. In order not to miss out on this postcard, campaign participants are encouraged follow the activities and information on Latvijas Pasts Instagram profile.

It should be noted that the number of postcards envisaged for sending is limited, while the response of users to the campaign is traditionally very high, so in order to please their mothers, every greeting sender must hurry to send the desired postcard in a timely manner. Taking into consideration the popularity of the campaign, its exact closing time cannot be predicted, but the users will be informed on social media as the campaign moves to its conclusion.

The Mother’s Day postcard sending campaign is the first of the social network campaigns implemented by Latvijas Pasts, and it has been held since 2011. Relentless interest in this campaign can be seen every year. The first Mother’s Day postcard sending campaign held by Latvijas Pasts in 2011 saw the participation of 4,867 Twitter users who filled in about 6,500 postcards. A total of 40,000 postcards were sent in the 2022 campaign.

You can view the Mother’s Day postcard designs and send a postcard on www.nosutipastkarti.lv
