Beāte Krauze-Čebotare will be in charge of managing Latvijas Pasts from now on

To strengthen the management team of the company, Beāte Krauze-Čebotare, and Jānis Kūliņš have joined the management team following the decision of the Council of Latvijas Pasts. From now on, Beāte Krauze-Čebotare will take on as CEO of Latvijas Pasts, while Jānis Kūliņš will perform the duties of Board Member and Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). 

“The new future development strategy of Latvijas Pasts is highly ambitious. It envisages a substantial transformation and accelerated development of the business areas of item delivery, transit, and financial services, with the end goal of offering the most appropriate solutions for customer needs. For this reason, the Council decided to considerably enhance the capabilities and competencies of the company’s management team. Both Beāte and Jānis have extensive experience in managing companies and teams and are recognized professionals in their fields. Therefore, there is no doubt that their addition to the management team of Latvijas Pasts will reinforce the management team’s professional competencies and facilitate the company’s successful and efficient achievement of its strategic objectives,” Raimonds Dūda, Chairman of the Council of Latvijas Pasts, comments.

Beāte Krauze-Čebotare has gained significant experience in company management, having served as manager and board member of the item delivery company Omniva Latvija for six years. Before that, she spent 11 years with Swedbank AS, the last four of which she led the Cash Management Department, which oversees various types of cash flow management solutions for entrepreneurs. Beāte Krauze-Čebotare graduated from the University of Latvia’s Faculty of Business, Management, and Economics and earned a master’s degree in management via the Riga School of Economics Executive MBA program.

In turn, Jānis Kūliņš, who will now serve as a Board Member of Latvijas Pasts with responsibility for business development, has spent nearly 17 years in various leadership positions at the pharmacy chain Apotheka, including more than 13 years as executive director and 15 years as board member. Jānis Kūliņš holds a master’s degree in finance and credit from the University of Latvia and is currently continuing his studies in the master’s study program Business Administration (MBA) at the Riga Business School.

According to Raimonds Dūda, Chairman of the Council of Latvijas Pasts, the main tasks of the company’s Board in the coming years will be the successful implementation of the new Baltic strategy, improvement of the company’s internal culture and service quality, optimization, and enhancement of business operations, as well as the introduction of new services and the expansion of existing services by with current trends and customer needs, while strengthening the leadership position in the item shipment and transit business in the Baltics. In addition, one of the company’s priorities is the implementation of the fundamental principles of sustainable business in both operational and administrative work.

Board Members Andris Puriņš and Kristaps Krūmiņš will continue to work together with Beāte Krauze-Čebotare and Jānis Kūliņš in the management team of Latvijas Pasts. The former Chairman of the Board Mārcis Vilcāns and Member of the Board Gusts Muzikants have resigned from their posts in the management of Latvijas Pasts.
