Due to war, postal item traffic with Israel has been suspended

Due to war and cancelled frights, postal item traffic with Israel has been suspended. For the time being, postal items accepted at Latvijas Pasts but not yet sent out from Latvia will be kept in storage in the mail processing centre of Latvijas Pasts.

Due to war, air traffic to and from Israel has been limited. As a result, Latvijas Pasts has suspended the acceptance of postal items to that country. Items addressed to Israel that have not yet been sent out from Latvia will be stored in the mail processing centre of Latvijas Pasts. As the situation changes, they will be sent to recipients.

Up to 2,000 registered items on average are sent to Israel via Latvijas Pasts per month, excluding letters and small packets. There are currently 297 postal items in the mail processing centre that have not been shipped to Israel. Notices have been sent to customers on the self-service website Manspasts.lv regarding the suspension of registered items.

If the item has not yet been sent out to Israel and the customer wants to claim it back immediately, please contact Latvijas Pasts Customer Centre: +371 67008001, +371 27008001 or info@pasts.lv
