Latvijas Pasts resumes the flow of postal items with Israel

Starting from the 30th of this year, Latvijas Pasts resumes the flow of postal items with Israel. Although hostilities in Israel continue and air traffic with that country is limited, Latvijas Pasts, in cooperation with international logistics companies, has found solutions for the delivery of items.

“Resumption of international mail with Israel in emergency conditions is crucial for customers both in Latvia and Israel, as it promotes international communication, cooperation, and trade. Latvijas Pasts is committed to providing support to our customers, responding to the changing global scene and, despite the obstacles, finding postal solutions for individuals, businesses, and organizations all over the globe,” Jānis Kūliņš, Member of the Board at Latvijas Pasts explains.

After items are delivered to Israel, their further delivery to customers is provided by Israel Postal Company, a national postal establishment, which acts in accordance with the security guidelines of its country.

Latvijas Pasts sends up to 2,000 registered items on average to Israel per month, excluding letters and small packets.

Should customers have any inquiries about sending items to Israel, they are welcome to contact Latvijas Pasts Customer Centre: +371 67008001, +371 27008001 or info@pasts.lv
