Latvijas Pastsgives opportunity to purchase postcards with special cancellation during Night of Museums

On Saturday, May 14, every participant of the Night of Museums will have a unique opportunity to visit the special post office of Latvijas Pasts and purchase original postcards. It will be possible to mail the postcards and receive a special cancellation designed for the event and proving participation in it.

The participation of Latvijas Pastsin the Night of Museums has become a tradition - this is already the third year when the company is offering museum visitors the opportunity to purchase and mail postcards. During the Night of Museums, everyone will have the chance to visit the special post office of Latvijas Pasts in the National History Museum of Latvia (LNVM) to purchase and send to family and friends a letter or an original postcard with a cancellation specially created for the Night of Museums. The cancellation will serve as proof of participation in the LNVM events on May 14, 2011.

Judging from the experience of the previous years, visitors appreciate this opportunity to mail postcards with a unique design and special cancellation, so Latvijas Pasts is looking forward to taking part in this year's event.
