As part of stamp design contest, Latvijas Pasts invites to try on Imants Ziedonis' hair style in online game

Along with the stamp design contest dedicated to associations with the eminent poet Imants Ziedonis - which commenced on Monday, October 21 - Latvijas Pasts in collaboration with Imants Ziedonis Foundation Viegli offers an interesting and original online game. By registering for the game at http://jaunapastmarka.lv with a Twitter account, anyone can try on the poet's iconic hair style. Each participant will be entered in a prize drawing with exciting prizes related to Ziedonis.

As part of the stamp design contest, Latvijas Pasts in collaboration with foundation Viegli is offering anyone a unique opportunity to try on Imants Ziedonis' recognizable bushy hair style by adding it to their photo. Each participant will be entered in a prize drawing for the book From Jāņi to Murjāņi by Ziedonis and Aivars Berķis and the CD-format record Epiphanies with poems by Ziedonis and music by composer Raimonds Tiguls, with personalized dedications from the composer and representatives of the foundation.

The new game of Latvijas Pasts and foundation Viegli is tied to a promotional campaign of the symbol of post - the stamp - which envisages involving the broader public in the stamp design process. From October 21 to November 3, everyone is invited to visit http://jaunapastmarka.lvand submit a stamp design associated with Imants Ziedonis - illustration of poetry, fairy tales, prose, or creative and unusual ideas related to the poet and his works. The most popular design will be determined in an online poll and will be used as the basis for a stamp that will be released with a print run of 300,000.

The game is available starting today, October 23, until November 3. The results of the prize drawing will be announced on November 4 on the Twitter account of Latvijas Pasts.
